Copyright Policy

Our policy
Mullion hosts websites, listing pages, photos and designs that real estate agents upload. We respect copyright and respond to notices that meet the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). When we get a valid notice we remove or disable the material quickly, tell the agent who posted it, and close the accounts of people who infringe repeatedly. Agents agree in our Terms to upload only photos and content they have the rights to.

Sending a notice
Use the form below, or send a written notice to the agent above that includes:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- the copyrighted work you say is infringed (for a photo: which photo, and ideally where the original appears);
- the exact web address (URL) of the material on Mullion you want removed;
- your name, postal address, phone number and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
- a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)). If you're not sure whether something infringes, consider getting legal advice first.
If your content was removed (counter-notice)
If you're the agent who posted it and you believe it was removed by mistake or you have the rights to use it, send our copyright agent a counter-notice with: your signature; the material removed and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; your name, address and phone; and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., any district where we may be found), and to accept service from the person who sent the notice.
We'll forward it to the person who sent the notice. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they've filed a court action, we may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving your counter-notice.
